Which Bitcoin addresses are supported?

The extension supports Bitcoin mainnet Legacy, P2SH, SegWit, and Taproot addresses. Testnet addresses are not supported.

Why does the balance show zero?

The displayed balance is based on confirmed blockchain transactions. A recent incoming transaction may not appear until it receives confirmation.

Where does the data come from?

Public address information comes from Blockstream’s Esplora API. The BTC/USD estimate uses price data from CoinGecko.

Is my search history uploaded?

No. Recent addresses are stored locally in Chrome on your device. The address being checked is sent directly to Blockstream to retrieve public blockchain data.

How do I clear my recent addresses?

Open the extension and select “Clear History” in the recent checks section. Uninstalling the extension also removes its local data.

Does the extension control or access my Bitcoin?

No. It is a read-only balance checker. It never asks for, stores, or processes private keys or seed phrases. Never share those secrets with anyone.
